Easy Homemade Caramel Popcorn Recipe

I made caramel popcorn! My favorite snack by far. It is crunchy and decently sweet but not overly. Also, surprisingly easy to make in your stovetop. Check out the recipe below:

Ingredients:

1 cup of kernels
4 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of water
Salt to taste

Directions:

Cook the popcorn on medium to high heat with 2 tablespoons of butter in a pot and cover with a lid. Remove from the pot and put to the side. Cook the sugar and water without mixing in medium heat for about 15-20 minutes or until the sugar is dark brown. Lower the heat and add the remaining butter, then the popcorn. Make sure to coat all the pieces. Remove from the pot into a tray with parchment paper. Add salt if desired.
