One of my favorite places in Puerto Rico is La Parguera. I would go with my parents and family growing up.
The best Mofongo is either seafood or chicharron (Boneless fried chicken) and pair it with an awesome refreshing colada. You will find this and more in this beautiful gem located in Cabo Rojo.
There is live music day and night. Also, amazing souvenirs that are handmade by the locals. You could take a boat ride to explore the beauty of the crystal clear waters, florescent bay and mountains which always make for beautiful scenery. Memories when my Dad was with us that I would treasure forever.
