Classic Puerto Rican Food in Old San Juan

Puerto Rico is the beautiful island where I was born. What makes it so special is the people with their beautiful shades and colors. One of the many things in our culture is the wonderful foods with amazing flavors that are part of our tradition passed on by our ancestors. I went to Old San Juan during COVID-19 to explore the different foods and restaurant.

Beautiful decor inside the seating area.

Fried fish with arroz con habichuelas (rice and beans).
One of many amazing restaurants found along the way was El Jibarito. They have amazing drinks, appetizers, and food. I tried a small pork appetizer with a side of yuca mofongo and it was amazing! The entree was a fried fish with rice and beans, with such stunning flavor. I enjoyed it and I recommend this place for your next visit to Old San Juan Puerto Rico.
